Two complete opposite performances from these two last weekend. Inter Milan played last of all, but shot to the top of Serie A with an impressive 4-0 victory at home to Lecce. Cagliari on the other hand played at home and were beaten by Brescia, in what was a disappointing afternoon for them.

Just when Cagliari needed a game they could win to bounce back and put things right after last weekend, they have to host Inter Milan, one of the best in the league. Even though they are at home, this is going to be incredibly tough for Cagliari, but a performance is needed after last weekend and even if it doesn’t result in a win, they must give their fans something to cheer.

Inter Milan were very impressive last weekend against Lecce. Even though they played a team expected to be down towards the bottom of the table, it was hard to not be impressed by Inter and how they controlled the game. They never once looked in trouble while defending, and each time they went forward they attacked with a genuine threat that should see them score plenty of goals this season.

We think the runs are going to continue on Sunday. We expect another strong performance from Inter Milan and assuming that happens, they have more than enough to beat Cagliari, who have a lot to prove after last weekend. Not only do we fancy Inter to take this, but we think they will do it in comfortable fashion so we are backing them on the -1 handicap line, as well as backing over 2.5 goals in the game, something the stats are pointing towards.
