Burnley vs Norwich City Match Preview
Norwich City enjoyed a fantastic victory against Manchester City last weekend, but their away form does not inspire confidence that they will follow up with another win at Burnley.
The Canaries were said to be suffering from an injury crisis when they hosted the holders of all three major English trophies, but you would never have known it as they triumphed 3-2 with a tremendously clinical counter-attacking performance.
But the problem for Norwich is that since being promoted last season, they have lost all three of their away matches – and that includes defeat against League Two club Crawley Town in the Carabao Cup.
Although Burnley have not won since the opening full day of the campaign, that sequence is not as bad as it sounds – especially as they have already faced Liverpool and Arsenal within their opening five games.
The Clarets have drawn 1-1 twice on their travels, doing the same to Brighton last week as Wolves had done to them earlier by equalising deep in stoppage time.
Burnley’s only home league game since that initial 3-0 success over Southampton was against Liverpool, so they have not really let their fans down yet at Turf Moor this term and although short enough odds here, Sean Dyche’s side are fancied to dish out another loss to Norwich on the road.
