Bristol City vs Nottingham Forest Match Preview
Bristol City won 1-0 at Cardiff ahead of the international break to stretch their unbeaten record to four matches. They sit sixth in the table and have the joint-highest (along with Middlesbrough) amount of draws in the division with seven.
At Ashton Gate, the Robins have lost just once this season though they have also been held to a draw three times. They could do with netting more goals in front of their own fans having grabbed just ten this campaign.
Nottingham Forest beat their East Midlands rivals Derby 1-0 last time out to make it back-to-back league victories. They sit fifth in the table and Sabri Lamouchai looks to have build a side capable of challening for promotion.
Away from the City Ground, the Tricky Trees have been decent this season winning four, drawing three and losing only once. They have won three of their last five games on the road though just one of the last three.
It is hard to argue with the prices on offer here which make Bristol City favourites but indicate that there would be little to choose between them and Nottingham Forest at a neutral value. In a tricky looking fixture the best value can be found in the anytime scorer market.
For the hosts, Josh Brownhill was given licence to get forward from midfield in a 3-5-2 last weekend and the player got the winning goal against Cardiff. At the prices on offer it appears bookmakers have not caught up with his changing role and he looks value to get one here.
For the visitors, Lewis Grabban is the obvious goal-threat but at a little bit more value it could be worth looking elsewhere. Richard Yates has yet to net this season but with Ben Watson sitting in the holding role he does have opportunities to get forward and looks a value selection here.
