Bristol City ended their game losing run last weekend but were somewhat fortunate to claim a point in a 1-1 draw at Millwall. They have taken just one point from their last four but the form of others around them means they remain seventh and just two points behind Preston in sixth.

At Ashton Gate, the Robins are a mixed bag of late and their last six have followed a sequence of winning one and then losing the next. Their last game here saw them lose 3-0 against West Brom who came became the fourth of the last five visitors here to score two or more goals.

Fulham made it back-to-back league victories and stretched their unbeaten run to three last time out with a 2-0 home success over Preston. The London outfit have taken seven points from their last three to keep the pressure on second placed Leeds who have five more points than them.

Away from Craven Cottage, the Whites are unbeaten in their last six league games with four of these finishing all-square. None of their last five on the road have gone over 2.5 goals and have produced a combined six goals.

Bookmakers make the visitors strong favourites to win this fixture and while they are the most likely winners it looks to short on a team with just two wins in eight on the road. Bristol City are stubborn opponents and could get a point or more though their lack of goals of late is a concern.

Four of the last five Fulham matches on the road have been level going into the break so this is the main recommendation with a smaller interest on the game being goalless at half-time in a tight battle between two promotion hopefuls.
