Brighton vs Sheffield United Match Preview
Sheffield United remarkably remain unbeaten away from home in this first Premier League season after promotion – but that record may not last through to Christmas.
The Blades are enjoying a fantastic first half of the campaign – only their second in the top flight in 26 years – and their excellent seventh position in the table is due in no small part to having stayed undefeated on the road.
But that stat will be put to a serious test at Brighton, who are generally solid at the Amex Stadium with their only league loss there since August having been to highflying Leicester.
Graham Potter’s side are playing some nice stuff at present and impressed with their away performances at Arsenal, where they won 2-1, and Crystal Palace on Monday when they bossed the game for the most part until conceding a terrific Wilfried Zaha equaliser.
One Brighton player that has particularly caught the eye of late is Australian midfielder Aaron Mooy, who is on loan from Huddersfield and continuing the favourable impression he created with that club, looking especially dangerous when he gets into crossing positions on the left.
Although Sheffield United will be full of confidence after back-to-back wins, there should be nothing wrong either with Brighton’s belief given their recent displays and the Seagulls are backed to edge a narrow success.
