Brentford picked up a second victory from their last four and made it just one defeat in four with a 3-1 victory at Barnsley. An Ollie Watkins give them all three points and ended a run of no goals from their previous two.

At Griffin Park, the Bees have had a mixed start with one victory (over Derby), draws (with Stoke and Hull) and a defeat (to Birmingham). The 3-0 victory over Derby has produced as many goals as the other three matches here combined.

Bristol City made it back-to-back draws with a 3-3 result at Preston that stretches their unbeaten run to eight in the Championship. It was the fifth in their last six that has seen both teams score and gone over 2.5 goals.

Away from Ashton Gate, the Robins are undefeated in five coming out victorious in three of these and the other two ending all-square. No side has scored more goals on the road than City in the division this season with 11.

The hosts are strong favourites for this though too much is likely being read into a 3-1 victory away at a poor Barnsley side. Bristol City are unbeaten in eight for a reason and are without a road defeat in five so we like them along with the draw here in the double chance market. Kasey Palmer was a threat from midfield against Preston and the Robins midfielder should have done better with a few of his chances and we like him to get among the goals here.
