Brazil vs Senegal Match Preview
Brazil travel to Singapore for their Thursday friendly and hope to bounce back after seeing their 17-match unbeaten streak ended by Peru (0-1), where they failed to find the net and saw it costly as Luis Abram found a late winner at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Canarinho will hope to put it behind them and they’ll surely be led by in-form Neymar in the final third, with an outfit packed with stars lacking no glitter and gloss. They’ve been scoring numbers of goals beforehand and Tite will want to see such a goalscoring form again, despite no high stakes involved.
Senegal seemingly have more to play for, getting ready for their African Nations Championship trip to Guinea in ten days as well as their Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers in November. They come into the match in good shape and on the back of a two-match winning streak, which does promise an exciting challenge at the National Stadium in Singapore as well.
Lions of Teranga have beaten Liberia (3-0) and Guinea (1-0) in their last two outings, making it past Liberia in August despite a 1-0 loss in the first leg and earning the narrow advantage over the 2nd Round rivals in September. They’ve finally started scoring goals too and we now hope they’ll have their say on the day.
We will thus back Brazil to turn an exciting game their way and go for them to win and Over 2.5 Goals FT, which combines to an enticing 11/8 with Coral and has already caught the eye of many value seekers in the know.
As said, we hope to see Senegal making an impact and with that in mind, we’re now also backing a Yes on Both teams to score at 5/4 with William Hill. We weren’t really impressed with Brazil’s back line in September and we now hope Senegal can make it on the scoresheet despite not seeing them snatch anything from the fixture.
