Brazil vs Panama Match Preview

Brazil travel to Estadio Do Dragao for their friendly clash against Panama looking to build on a six-match winning streak, bouncing back from a disappointing Quarter-finals exit in the hands of Belgium (1-2) at World Cup in Russia.

Canarinho have been rock-solid at the back and based their success on such displays as they beat United States (0-2), El Salvador (5-0), Saudi Arabia (0-2), Argentina (0-1), Uruguay (1-0), and Cameroon (1-0) with clean sheets on all of the occasions. They now hope to keep it up and Panama should seemingly be less of a challenge.

Indeed, Gary Stempel’s men have struggled to turn clashes their way and haven’t seen a win in almost a year, with nine losses in last ten outings and just a draw against Korea Republic (2-2) earned along the way. They haven’t been able to score goals on the regular and this could be even more worrying.

Los Canaleros have seen a convincing 3-0 loss to United States and it’s tough to see them do much more against Brazil, even without some of their main stars fielded by Tite. We feel Brazil will now want to show off as dominants and we expect them very motivated to do so.

We will thus back them to extend their winning streak with another confident display at the back, as we back Brazil to win to Nil at 4/9 with Paddy Power – which feels like a real banker bet at this point.
