Bournemouth vs Chelsea Match Preview
Chelsea have seen Bayern Munich (0-3) get their foot in the door of Champions League Quarter-finals in a game which saw many point out a chasm we’ve seen between Frank Lampard’s men and the German dominants. They now travel to Bournemouth looking to bounce quickly and build on a top 4 spot in Premier League.
Blues can’t boast consistency but we have seen them as a tough side to beat on the road, suffering just one loss in six away games since December. They beat Tottenham (0-2), Arsenal (1-2), and Hull (1-2), while holding Brighton (1-1) and Leicester (2-2) to draws along the way. They will now want more of the same and we expect them very motivated to snatch the points.
Bournemouth have been scoring goals quite regularly and their 3-0 loss at Burnley last week was only the first time they failed to find the net in five outings. They still saw three losses in last four games and have a lot to do if they’re to escape the danger zone with Aston Villa, West Ham, and Watford all breathing down their necks.
Cherries beat Villans (2-1) last time out in front of the home fans but saw Arsenal (1-2) knock them out of FA Cup and Sheffield United (2-1) snatch all three points as well. They’ve struggled to keep it together at the back and this could prove costly at Vitality Stadium once again.
We do see Chelsea in a better place despite the mid-week disappointment and we’ll now stick with the visitors to snatch the points, backing them to do so at 3/4 with BetVictor and hoping they can turn an exciting game their way.
We do feel they’ll have to do just that and after seeing them concede goals on the regular, we’re making a case for goals with a Yes on Both teams to score at 4/5 with bet365. We’ve seen three of both sides’ respective last four league outings end that way and we’re now hoping for more of the same.
