Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Liechtenstein Match Preview
Bosnia-Herzegovina host Liechtenstein for their EURO 2020 Qualifiers looking for their only second win in five Group J outings, desperate for points to keep up with the top 2 as they sit five behind 2nd placed Finland – who could feel like a very positive surprise led by Norwich’s Teemu Pukki early on.
Dragons started the campaign perfectly with a 2-1 home win over Armenia but were then denied points in a 2-2 draw against Greece (where they had a 2-0 lead early on) and seemingly struggled to bounce from it, seeing losses at both Finland (2-0) and Italy (2-1). They’ve put on a solid challenge in Turin but saw a second-half comeback, which will be just as worrying for Robert Prosinecki.
Liechtenstein came into the competition as heavy underdogs and were unable to cause any upset, though, travelling to Zenica with four losses behind them and sitting rock-bottomed in a tough Group. They’ve been conceding numbers of goals on the road and this has very few keeping faith for a shock here.
Helgi Kolvidsson’s men are yet to score a goal in the EURO 2020 Qualifiers and they’ve seen comfortable losses to Greece (0-2), Italy (6-0), Armenia (3-0), and Finland (0-2) already. Liechtenstein have been tougher to beat at home ground but conceded a high total of 17 goals on last five trips.
We thus feel this should prove smooth sailing for Bosnia-Herzegovina and we’re now backing them to another convincing win over Liechtenstein, as we go for Asian Handicap and Bosnia to win -3.5 at 19/20 with bet365 – which does seem like value at this point.
We don’t see the visitors making an impact on the day either but as already said, we still expect goals and we’re thus also going for Over 3.5 Goals FT at 8/15 with William Hill. Liechtenstein have been all over the place on many occasions on the road and this should prove another such clash in a row.
