Borussia Dortmund have seemingly lost track of the Bundesliga pace-setters Bayern Munich, sitting four points behind with just two games left to play after a thriller 2-4 loss to Schalke in front of the home fans and a point in a 2-2 draw at Werder Bremen.

BVB have kept scoring numbers of goals along the way but obviously missed the captain Marco Reus as they felt very inconsistent, as he received a three-match suspension and will only be available for the final day of the campaign – as Lucien Favre’s men hope for slip-ups from Bayern who do have a tougher schedule on their hands.

Fortuna Dusseldorf have beaten Dortmund (2-1) in front of the home fans earlier this term and they’ll surely be no sitting ducks at Signal Iduna Park either. They have outclassed Bremen (4-1) at home and held Freiburg (1-1) to another draw at Schwarzwald-Stadion, now hoping to keep up their unbeaten streak despite no high stakes on their end.

Flingeraner have thus been scoring goals on the regular and this was just as true a statement away from home, where they failed to find the net in just one of their last 13 trips since late November. This promises a great challenge once again despite no predictable spell of form on the road.
