Bordeaux vs Toulouse Match Preview
Bordeaux host Toulouse for their Matchday 25 clash on Sunday afternoon looking to return to the winning ways after four consecutive losses, all of which came on the road and saw them drop down the Ligue 1 table as well as out of Coupe de la Ligue.
Les Girondins have thus seen Strasbourg (1-0), Marseille (1-0), and PSG (1-0) all secure the points despite tough challenges and very narrow contests on all of the occasions, where Coupe de la Ligue exit in the hands of Le Racing (3-2) feels like nothing more of a boost to their confidence despite finding the net. Nonetheless, they’ve been in better shape at Stade Matmut-Atlantique and we’ll now surely see Eric Bedouet’s men very motivated to show it.
Toulouse sit just a point behind the rivals and they travel hoping for an upset which would see them jump the rivals on the table. However, they’ve had troubles turning clashes their way and Alain Casanova has goalscoring woes of his own – his men finding the net just twice in the last four outings.
Les Pitchouns come into the match on the back of a 1-1 draw earned against Reims where Gradel found the late equalizer but this also extended their four-match winless streak, where they suffered narrow losses to Monaco (2-1) and Nantes (2-0) beforehand.
We will now back Bordeaux to capitalize on the rivals’ away woes as well and we’ll go for a Home win here, which comes at 10/11 with Coral and looks a great approach to the fixture seeing the home side beat both Le Havre (1-0) and Dijon (1-0) in their last two outings here.
However, we expect another very narrow occasion at Matmut-Atlantique and we’ll now also go for Under 2.5 Goals FT at 5/9 with Unibet. We have seen them regularly base their success on such contests here and this now feels like buying money for old rope.
