Blackburn host Hull City for their Championship clash on Saturday after picking it up ahead of an important contest, which could prove a crucial point in their top 6 chase as both sides sit six points behind Derby County after 28 matches played.

Rovers have beaten Ipswich (2-0) and returned to their unbeaten streak after the FA Cup exit in a 2-4 thriller against Newcastle (which the Premier League rivals turned their way in extra-time). They’ve been picking it up beforehand and Tony Mowbray will obviously want his men to take the positives, which promises them in a good mood.

Hull have put their FA Cup exit in the hands of Millwall (2-1) behind them too with a 3-0 home win over Sheffield Wednesday and a thriller 2-2 draw at Aston Villa last week, where first-half goals from Bowen and Evandro proved enough for just a point in the end.

Tigers have thus earned six wins in eight outings since mid-December and this promises them in great shape at Ewood Park too, as they continue scoring goals and putting on solid challenges across competitions. However, there’s a lot to prove in Blackburn and we now expect an exciting clash.
