Birmingham vs Fulham Match Preview
Birmingham were involved in a highly-entertaining game at Cardiff last weekend but came out on the wrong end of a 4-2 loss. The result was harsh on the Midlands outfit with the expected goals data showing they deserved a point.
At St Andrew’s, the Blues are strong winning each of their last three and five of the last six matches in the Championship. Three of their last five here have seen them come out on top 2-1 while four of six have seen them score exactly two goals.
Fulham were poor last weekend in a home fixture against Hull going down 3-0 and showing again that they can not be trusted at short prices. It means they have just one victory and five points from their last five.
Away from Craven Cottage, the Whites have drawn three of their last five and tasted defeat just once in the last six. The London outfit have blanked in each of their last two on the road and only twice this season have scored more than once on their travels.
Bookmakers make Fulham the favourites here but given they have won just one of their last five and Birmingham have won five of six here this is not a bet worth taking. We could not put anyone off backing the Blues outright but given the prices you can afford to take them with the safety blanket of the draw no bet.
Kristian Pedersen has three goals in 15 starts for the hosts this season and goes off to big to net at anytime in this fixture against a Fulham side who have yet to find the right balance at the back this campaign.
