Belgium vs Russia Fansbet Preview
Belgium at times looked spectacular in the World Cup last summer and will without doubt regret the fact that they weren’t able to match the French in their tight semi-final loss and weren’t able to put in the winning performances in the Nations League. New tournament to put things right as they open their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign against Russia in Group I.

Belgium vs Russia Match Preview
Belgium are sharing third favouritism to become European champions in 2020 and they take their first step along the road to potential glory against Russia.
Roberto Martinez’s side are behind France and Spain in the outright betting for the Euro 2020 crown and vying with Germany and England to be considered the best of the rest.
Third at last summer’s World Cup, Belgium missed out on a place in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals when they lost their final match 5-2 away to Switzerland.
Martinez has named a squad of 28 for the two opening qualifiers but is without injured trio Vincent Kompany, Axel Witsel and Kevin De Bruyne, while Marouane Fellaini recently retired from international football and there is a fitness doubt about his former Manchester United team-mate Romelu Lukaku.
Russia, who enjoyed such a fine World Cup campaign on home soil, have performed satisfactorily since then, but will have been disappointed at being pipped to Nations League promotion by Sweden when they lost 2-0 away to the Scandinavians in November.
Stanislav Cherchesov, of the famous moustache, remains in charge and will be relying on a largely familiar squad in which captain Artem Dzyuba and Fyodor Smolov are the most prolific goalscorers.bet365
However, apart from the aberration in Switzerland, Belgium have been defensively very solid this season and they are backed to open their qualification bid with three points and a clean sheet.
