Belgium vs Kazakhstan Match Preview
Belgium host Kazakhstan for their EURO 2020 Qualifiers clash in great shape as Group I pace-setters with six points to their name after two outings, where they beat Russia (3-1) and Cyprus (0-2) with five goals scored as in-form Eden Hazard led the attacking line with three goals to his name already.
Red Devils have seen a disappointing end to their UEFA Nations League campaign as two goals from Thorgan Hazard proved enough for nothing in Switzerland, as the rivals shocked them in a 4-2 win at Swissporarena to snatch the top spot in Group 2. They have now put it behind them, though, and many predict smooth sailing throughout the Qualifiers.
Kazakhstan have, on the other hand, bagged a thrashing 3-0 win over Scotland on the opening day of the campaign but then went on to suffer a similar loss in the hands of Russia (0-4), where Cheryshev (x2), Dzyuba, and Beysebekov (OG) all found the net.
Hawks have thus only failed to find the net for the first time in eight outings and we do expect them motivated to do more in Brussels. While we certainly don’t see them snatching any points, we do feel they can make this an exciting contest with a good approach.
We will thus go for Belgium to bag the points in another exciting contest in front of the home fans, as we go for a Home win and a Yes on Both teams to score at 12/5 with bet365 – which would be the fourth such occasion in six of their outings.
With that in mind, it’s easy to make a case for goals at Stade Roi Baudouin and we hope for just that, as we now also back their ace Eden Hazard to open the scoresheet with a goal first at 14/5 with William Hill.
