Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt Match Preview
Bayern Munich host Eintracht Frankfurt on the final day of the campaign with a lot still left to play for, as they sit two points clear of the 2nd placed Borussia Dortmund and now search for their sixth consecutive win at Allianz Arena in an attempt to secure the title.
Bavarians have been very confident here despite slip-ups on the road and we’ve seen them score a high total of 20 goals, as they outclassed Mainz (6-0), Heidenheim (5-4), Dortmund (5-0), Werder Bremen (1-0), and Hannover (3-1) in front of the home fans since mid-March.
Eintracht Frankfurt have, on the other hand, struggled to turn clashes their way lately and this has proven costly across competitions. They’ve crashed out of Europa League semi-finals in the hands of Chelsea (on penalties after a 2-2 aggregate draw) and earned just two points in five Bundesliga outings – which saw them out of the top 4 and on the brink of dropping a spot in UEFA competitions altogether.
Die Adler have proven themselves very tough to beat against the Blues but have struggled for any consistency on the road, which will be just as worrying. They’ve seen a 4-2 loss at Benfica, a 1-1 draw at Wolfsburg, and a 6-1 thrashing at Leverkusen as we don’t see them bouncing back from such a streak now either.
We will thus stick with Bayern to secure the title in an exciting contest with goals once again, as we now go for a Home win and Over 2.5 Goals FT as more of a banker bet at 1/2 with William Hill.
However, we have seen Frankfurt in good shape up front and scoring goals on the regular, which does promise such a challenge once again. We’ll thus back them to find the net too with a Yes on Both teams to score, which comes at 4/7 with bet365.
