BATE Borisov vs Arsenal Match Preview
Arsenal travel to Borisov for their Europa League clash amid an unpredictable spell of form, looking to earn an advantage ahead of the return match in front of the home fans and surely motivated to put this one beyond reach early with a busy schedule on their hands.
Gunners come into the match just days after their trip to Huddersfield in an attempt to bounce back to the winning ways after a 3-1 loss at Man City, where a single goal from Laurent Koscielny proved too little to cause an upset at Etihad. Unai Emery’s men largely struggle for consistency at this point and have seen three losses in five outings, which will be more worrying.
BATE would love to capitalize on such troubles on their end but they’ve been far from stable themselves, having finished the Belarus Premier League campaign in early December. They’ve seen losses to Suwon Bluewings (0-2) and Wolfsberger AC (2-1) in late January and early February so a narrow 2-0 win over Vojvodina will be a questionable boost to their confidence.
Alyaksey Baha has seen his men regularly scoring and conceding goals and this could be another worrying factor ahead of the clash against Arsenal, who enjoy an attacking approach and should have the bragging rights in the final third in an exciting contest in the making at Borisov Arena.
We will thus stick our necks out for Arsenal to turn a thrilling clash their way as we go for an Away win & a Yes on Both teams to score at 21/10 with Betway. They have been conceding goals but we feel Emery’s men can outgun the Belarus rivals and secure an advantage at this point.
This proves to the point many have been making and we’ll now also back a high-scoring clash with Over 2.5 Goals FT at 13/20 with BetVictor, which has seen many big hitters lumping already – after seeing such occasions in all of the Gunners’ last three outings.
