Brentford travel to National League rivals Barnet looking to extend their three-match winning streak and make their way to the 5th Round at the Hive Stadium, after beating Oxford (1-0), Stoke (3-1), and Rotherham (2-4) in three exciting clashes since early January.

Thomas Frank’s men rediscovered their fine form in the final third and extended a six-match unbeaten streak across competitions, where Cup success would surely boost their team spirits too. Brentford have had more troubles turning clashes their way on the road, but should now come on a high!

Barnet, on the other hand, have to search for a return to the winning ways after seeing a 4-0 thrashing at Braintree Town, which ended a streak of four games without a loss – where they beat Dagenham & Redbridge (0-1), Sheffield United (0-1 in FA Cup), Dorchester (2-1) and only held Boreham Wood (1-1) to a draw along the way.

Bees now meet for the first time since 2011 and we’ve seen Barnet turn the EFL Trophy clash their way on penalties then, which was also their first win over Brentford ever. They will now want to put on a similar challenge but we don’t see them making it past the Championship rivals at this point.

We will thus stick with Brentford to bag a win in London and going for an Away win seems like buying money for old rope at 4/9 with Paddy Power, already seeing many big hitters lumping.
