Barcelona host Sevilla looking to overturn the Copa del Rey contest after a comfortable 2-0 loss suffered at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, where second-half goals from Pablo Sarabia and Wissam Ben Yedder proved Ernesto Valverde’s choices costly with another dent in their winning streak.

Blaugrana have bounced back with a 0-2 win in Girona and earned their fourth win in five outings but have a lot to prove now, as they search for a ticket to the semi-finals at Camp Nou. They have seen slip-ups but still suffered just one loss here this term, which will give them something to build on now as well.

Sevilla have, on the other hand, put on a convincing display against Levante (5-0) over the weekend and connected their second win in a row after ending a three-match losing streak across competitions. They will now want to keep it up and should prove a tough nut to crack in Barcelona.

Sevillistas have largely struggled for consistency on the road, though, and just two wins in 12 trips since early October will be very worrying. Pablo Machin’s men obviously don’t need a win now but going for anything else feels very dangerous against Barcelona, who regularly score numbers of goals in front of the home fans.
