Barcelona vs Granada Match Preview
Barcelona host Granada for their Matchday 20 clash with a disappointing trip to Jeddah and Super Cup semi-finals exit in the hands of Atletico Madrid (2-3), which saw Ernesto Valverde sacked and Quique Setien taking over. They now look to bounce and regain consistency, hoping to outclass the mid-table rivals and take revenge for a 2-0 loss suffered at Los Carmenes earlier this term.
Blaugrana still top the table but they certainly have a lot on their mind with just one win earned in five games since mid-December. Setien will now have a task to lift their team spirits quickly and the clash against Granada – who have struggled for consistency on the road through most part of the campaign – feels like a solid chance to make it happen.
Indeed, Granada saw five losses in their last five La Liga trips and only turned Copa del Rey clashes at L’Hospitalet (2-3) and Tamaraceite (0-1) their way by a slim margin. They have been scoring goals regularly but still struggled to capitalize, which will be just as worrying ahead of the tough trip to Camp Nou.
Nasrids’ Cup win over Tamaraceite last week was also their second in a row and this will give them ground to build on. However, the task at hand will be much tougher and Diego Martinez could need more from his attacking line if they’re to cause an upset – something they’ve never done in Barcelona.
We thus feel Barcelona will return to the winning ways but we feel we should be in for an exciting game with goals and with that in mind, going for Over 3.5 Goals FT at 20/21 with BetVictor looks like the best approach to the fixture at this point.
We do feel Granada will have their say and that there will be open spaces behind the lines to capitalize on, which has us going for a Yes on Both teams to score at 11/10 with William Hill as well. Barcelona have struggled to keep it together at the back and this should show once again.
