Atletico Madrid host Getafe for their Matchday 21 clash on Saturday having shaken off the feeling after a disappointing Copa del Rey exit (where Girona went through on away goals) with a 0-3 win at rock-bottomed Huesca, and now hope they can keep up with Barcelona at the top with important home points.

Atleti have been rock-solid at the back and Diego Simeone will want to build on such a performance despite a tougher challenge looming now. They’ve based success at Wanda Metropolitano on such displays and we’ve seen them bag five consecutive wins ahead of the 3-3 draw against Girona, where they kept clean sheets on all of the occasions.

Getafe will now want a similar upset as they search to extend their five-match unbeaten streak just days after earning a Copa del Rey advantage through a 1-0 home win over Valencia. A single goal from Jorge Molina was enough for such a quest and Jose Bordalas will now want more of the same.

However, getting it in Madrid will be no easy task despite their fine performances at the back of recent, as Atleti enjoy narrow clashes and that’s just what we expect now. Azulones have had more troubles turning away clashes their way and this could prove costly this time around.
