Atlanta United vs Toronto Match Preview
Atlanta host Toronto for their MLS clash midway through the week after rediscovering their fine form and beating both Colorado Rapids (1-0) and Sporting KC (0-3), as Frank de Boer’s men now bagged nine points (of the 11-point total) in their last four outings with just a loss to Dallas (1-2) seen along the way.
Five Stripes have been very solid at the back and will now want more of the same, after also keeping three clean sheets along the way. They’ve still got a lot to prove in search of consistency at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and this could see the rivals motivated in search of an upset.
Indeed, Toronto have never suffered a loss to Atlanta and after three draws in the first three head-to-head clashes, they’ve also bagged a very convincing 4-1 win in October 2018. This will give them a lot to build on but it’s hard to say they can boast any consistency either – failing to connect any two same results since March.
Reds have been regularly scoring goals on the road, though, and we’ve seen seven on three trips as they beat Philadelphia (1-3) and Orland (0-2) but suffered a similarly thrilling 3-2 loss at Sounders along the way. They will now want to keep that up and this promises another exciting contest in Atlanta.
However, we do see the Five Stripes outgunning the visitors and keeping their fine streak of recent intact, as we go for a Home win at 7/10 with bet365 – which does seem like value at this point.
Indeed, we do hope for an exciting game of football with goals, as both sides boast an attacking approach to their fixtures. With that in mind, we’re now also going for a Yes on Both teams to score at 8/15 with bet365, which looks like more of a banker bet here.
