Atalanta vs Lazio Match Preview
Atalanta travel to Stadio Olimpico for their Coppa Italia Final in great shape, having connected a five-match winning streak across competitions and proven themselves a very tough side to outgun – as Gianpiero Gasperini’s men regularly score numbers of goals and have 11 to their name along the way.
La Dea have beaten Napoli (1-2), Fiorentina (2-1), Udinese (2-0), Lazio (1-3), and Genoa (2-1) since mid-April, where they regularly conceded goals and kept just one clean sheet but hardly worry about it. Indeed, the attacking line led by Duvan Zapata impressed and saw goals coming from all directions, which will be promising now as well.
Lazio have, on the other hand, bagged a 1-2 win at Cagliari over the weekend and returned to the winning ways with their third in four outings across competitions. However, the only loss came to Atalanta (1-3) in front of the home fans and this could be more worrying for Simone Inzaghi.
Biancocelesti have beaten Milan (0-1 in Coppa Italia) and Sampdoria (1-2) in two narrow clashes beforehand, showing off in the attacking third despite a dry spell for their main man up front Ciro Immobile.
We do feel we’re in for an exciting contest very tough to call now as well but we do see Atalanta building on their great records of recent, as we stick our necks out for La Dea to Lift the Trophy at 10/11 with bet365.
We do feel we’re in for goals on both ends and with that in mind, we’re now hoping for a high-scoring contest in Rome once again. We’ll back Over 2.5 Goals FT at 4/5 with bet365, which seems great value for those hoping regular time will be enough to see a winner here.
