The Serie A season gets back underway this weekend after the international break and the best game of the weekend could well be the first that takes place, which is this one. Fifth placed Atalanta host leaders Juventus, a few weeks ago this would have been one to excite us all when Atalanta were playing well, though they have gone off the boil a little since. If the international break has rejuvenated them then this should be a cracker, and a real test for Juve.

While Juventus are top of the league, they have failed to either stretch their lead and kick clear of the challengers behind them, or stamp their authority on any individual game with a big win. There has been nothing flashy from them, they have ground out a number of their wins this season, which has to be cause for concern, even if only a little, for their fans.

Atalanta made a great start to the season and after qualifying for the Champions League last season, the same looked on the cards again this season after the start they made. They have not been as good in recent games, and will be hoping the international break has given them the chance to re-group and come again.

We think they will do that, although that still may not be enough to beat Juventus. Atalanta have drawn three out of their last five games and we are going to back them to record another draw here in this one. Juventus are an excellent team, but do look vulnerable in parts as they have yet to really stamp their authority on the league, we are backing Atalanta to take advantage of that a take a point from this game.
