Chelsea travel to Birmingham for their Matchday 30 clash at Aston Villa looking to build on a two-match winning streak after they beat Liverpool (2-0 in FA Cup) and Everton (4-0 in Premier League) in two outings last week. They have a lot to prove on the road with obvious struggles to keep it together at the back and Frank Lampard hopes his men can take confidence.

Blues were denied points in thriller draws at Leicester (2-2) and Bournemouth (2-2) on two trips in February, which will be worrying as they look to build on a top 4 spot. They have three sides breathing down their necks and points against struggling rivals will be all-important at the moment.

Indeed, Aston Villa have struggled and they come into the match with a streak of five losses behind them. They’ve seen Bournemouth (2-1), Tottenham (2-3), Southampton (2-0), and Leicester (4-0) all deny them the points while the narrow League Cup Final loss to Man City (1-2) comes off as no more of a boost to their confidence.
