Arsenal have struggled for points lately and they host Eintracht Frankfurt looking for their first win in seven outings across competitions, where Alexandre Lacazette’s last-gasp equalizer against Southampton (2-2) over the weekend only brought their fourth draw along the way.

Gunners have seen some very solid displays along the ways but the streak looks no less worrying for it, as they were held off by Wolves (1-1), Vitoria Guimaraes (1-1), and beaten by Leicester (2-0) earlier in November. Unai Emery will now be desperate for a confidence booster and this still looks like a good chance to get it.

Indeed, Eintracht Frankfurt come into the match with three consecutive losses behind them, including a 2-1 loss at Standard Liege in Europa League as well as loss to Freiburg (1-0) and Wolfsburg (0-2) before and after the International break, respectively. They’ve been conceding goals on the regular and now saw it costly, dropping to Bundesliga mid-table and out of the Group F top 2.

Die Adler sit behind Liege only for their goal difference, though, and will now seemingly have more to play for despite Arsenal’s need to put out a fire. The English rivals feel far from convincing at the back and Adi Hutter will hope his men can capitalize on such shortcomings, which still promises an exciting occasion.
