Armenia vs Finland Match Preview
Armenia have put on a very solid challenge in Bosnia-Herzegovina but a late penalty-kick goal from Henrikh Mkhitaryan only proved a consolation in a 2-1 loss and they now host Finland for their EURO 2020 Qualifiers clash hoping for more – in search of their first points in Group J.
Havaqakan have proven themselves a tough nut to crack as predicted but seeing their three-match unbeaten streak will be disappointing, as Armen Gyulbudaghyants now has to find his men’s best form once again. They have been very tough to beat at home ground and suffered just two losses in nine outings since November 2017 – with a somewhat more lenient schedule, truth be told.
Finland now have high hopes for an upset after a solid challenge at group favourites Italy, where they still suffered a 2-0 loss on Saturday through goals from Nicolo Barella and Moise Kean. This was their fourth loss in five outings and Markku Kanerva’s men will need more at Vazgen Sargsyan anvan Hanrapetakan Marzadasht.
Tepsi have been tough defensively but also struggled to convert their chances, where just two goals scored along that streak will surely feel worrying ahead of the Tuesday’s trip. They’ll be led by Norwich’s Teemu Pukki up front and will now want to show off with less of a challenge expected.
We will still back Armenia to prove their character of a tough side to beat and we’ll now stick our necks out for the sides to share the spoils in Yerevan, as we go for a Draw at 23/10 with bet365.
With that in mind, we hope for a tough deadlock to break and solid defensive displays on both ends. We’re also going for a low-scoring contest and Under 2.5 Goals FT, which comes at 4/7 with William Hill and has been rated more of a banker bet by many in the know already.
