AC Milan vs Spal Match Preview

A chance for both of these teams to try and turn things around. AC Milan started better, so they are further up the table than Spal but there is no doubt that regardless of league positions, both teams will be hugely disappointed with their recent run. They both have the same record, with just one win and one draw from their last six games, something that needs turning around, esepcially for AC Milan who are much better than this.

Milan were beaten by Roma at the weekend in another disappointing performance. Prior to that they had taken four points from games against Lecce and Genoa, but those are two struggling teams, and that should really have been a comfortable six points, but it wasn’t. Spal come here on the back of a very good draw with Napoli, something that should give them a little confidence that they can mix it up with the best that Serie A has to offer, although we are yet to see that kind of performance from them on a regular basis, something that has been their downfall so far.

We are not sure which was this will go, we think Spal are great value, but a draw is certainly possible. For that reason we are backing Spal +1 on Thursday night, which covers both a Spal win and a draw from our point of view, something we like the look of. Elsewhere, we are also backing both teams to score due to the stats surrounding AC Milan. Both teams have scored in their last five games, they have ability going forward, but are leaking goals at the back.
