AC Milan vs Juventus Match Preview
AC Milan host Juventus for their Coppa Italia semi-finals on Thursday evening hoping to bounce quickly after a wild Derby della Madonnina over the weekend, where Inter (4-2) completed a second-half comeback after Ante Rebic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic both made it on the scoresheet in the first.
Rossoneri have shown glimpses of what the fans have been hoping for and it’s been long since the Milan derby attracted so much attention, but the bitter taste could be tough to get rid of. They extended a seven-match unbeaten streak beforehand, with five wins and two draws, and will now want to show off such a character again.
Juventus come into the match after dropping the top spot to Inter Milan as they slipped up on the road once again, where Hellas Verona (2-1) completed a late comeback in front of the home fans on Saturday evening. This was their second away loss in a row, after also suffering a 2-1 loss at Napoli, and Maurizio Sarri will want more.
Bianconeri beat Fiorentina (3-0) along the way and we have seen a more impressive attacking line led by Cristiano Ronaldo at Allianz Stadium. Still, they’ll want an advantage here and we expect an attacking approach as they look to extend a ten-match winning streak in head-to-head clashes.
We don’t see them doing so, though, and we’ll now rather stick with AC Milan to deny Juventus on Thursday evening. We’ll thus go for what feels like an enticing Double Chance – Home win or Draw at 8/11 with William Hill!
We should be in for goals and Rossoneri will have to cope if they’re to make it happen. With that in mind, we’re now also going for a Yes on Both teams to score, which comes at 4/5 with bet365 and has caught the eye of many in the know already.
