AC Milan vs Frosinone Match Preview
AC Milan beat Bologna (2-1) and Fiorentina (0-1) in two very narrow clashes now behind them and they host Frosinone for their Matchday 37 clash on Sunday looking to build on the winning streak and snatch the top 4 spot – at least for a couple of hours.
Rossoneri have seen a very disappointing streak beforehand and Gennaro Gattuso’s men dropped the Champions League spot late in the campaign, which will now surely have them very motivated to impress and bounce back with just two games left to play.
Frosinone have, on the other hand, bagged just one point in their last five outings and have 24 to their name as they sit in the relegation zone with a ticket to Serie B long punched. They’ve struggled for defensive consistency away from home and this will be just as worrying.
Canarini have been no strangers to upsets on the road despite no high stakes involved, though, and this will have them looking for another such occasion on the day. However, Gattuso should be able to warn against complacency and we feel Rossoneri will have what it takes to bag the points.
We feel they’ll have to base their success on a tough defensive display before anything else once again, though, and we’ll now go for Milan to win to Nil at 8/11 with William Hill – which seems the best way to approach the fixture at this point.
With that in mind, we hope not to see many goals at Giuseppe Meazza and we’ll thus also back Under 2.5 Goals FT at 7/4 with bet365, which seems great value seeing Milan’s recent return to solid defensive displays after great struggles through March and April.
