After another inconsistent season at Real Madrid, could Spanish midfielder Isco finally exit the Bernabeu with a range of Premier League clubs vying for his signature.

Isco has spent six years in and around the first-team squad at Real Madrid without ever becoming the dominant mainstay in the team you would perhaps expect for a player of his quality. Now, with a host of new players coming in and Zinedine Zidane expected to add one or two more still, he could be offloaded to free up some space in the squad for an incoming Paul Pogba or Christian Eriksen.

Capable of playing in central midfield, attacking midfield or just off the striker, Isco could fit in at several different clubs not only in the Premier League but across Europe and if Los Blancos do decide it’s time for the 27 year old to move on this summer there will be no shortage of suitors for his signature.

Although the odds fluctuate by bookmaker, Manchester United are the favourites to sign the midfielder with PaddyPower. The Red Devils could be set to spend big this summer as they look to return to the Champions League and they could be in business with Real Madrid anyway this summer if a deal is struck for Paul Pogba to go the opposite way.

Elsewhere, Juventus remain short odds despite bringing in a handful of midfielders already this summer, although the opportunity to bring in a more attack-minded player may be too good to miss for Maurizio Sarri as he looks to put his own stamp on this squad, whilst PSG could be in the market for more attacking players themselves should they lose Neymar or Kylian Mbappe in the coming weeks.

But closer to home, the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool will also be showing an interest. With Nabil Fekir struggling to hit the heights shown previously in the last season, the Reds may be looking for other options to fill the gap in their squad that boss Jurgen Klopp is clearly looking to add to, whilst Manchester City may be looking for a long-term replacement for David Silva as he enters his final season at the Etihad Stadium.
