Football Index Elite: How one trader is aiming for a dream trip with his winnings

Read how in just 19 months, one trader has an eye on treating himself to a dream trip to the Bellagio with the profits from his Football Index portfolio.

It was New Years eve 2017, when I first heard of ‘The Football Index’ and instead of being down the pub with the majority of the nation, I instead made a decision that has been a big part of my life for the last 19 months or so.

Now I was a complete rookie with this, and trading as a whole, but the concept got me excited and I wondered why I hadn’t heard of this sooner.  Football Index is similar to the stock market, where you can buy and sell shares in your favourite players and watch their natural growth, as they score goals, play well or are a media magnet. Values increase and decrease solely on other traders buying and selling and additional money can be made through performance and media related dividends.

Like every other football fan in Britain, I thought I had a pretty good knowledge of the game and had to give this a go. I started with a small deposit and bought a selection of players I thought could be potential stars. My first buys were Virgil Van Djik- £1.83, Krisoffer Ajer- £0.54 and Moussa Dembele-£1.89. These values are per share and you can buy as many shares (futures) in a player as you like. These values were also pre share split, so their values would be divided by 3 in comparison with today’s markets.

“My mission now is to find the next Sancho”

Now as I mentioned before, I had no real experience of this platform and I made plenty of mistakes along the way. The Football Index often works in strange ways and doesn’t always make sense, hence why we created ’Football Index Elite’ to help likewise people from making the same mistakes I did in my early days. My first buys weren’t necessarily mistakes though, if I had kept hold of them I would have made fairly good profits on each of them, but I bought and sold a bit too much when I first started.

My best buy to date came in my early days. After watching England’s triumphant u17s squad, I decided to buy Jadon Sancho at an equivalent of 46p per share, his current market value at the time of writing is £6.79, giving me a total profit in excess of 1200% on the young England star. To put that into perspective my initial outlay of £207.48 is now worth £2501.73 and has earned me £49.20 in dividends as well!

My mission now is to find the next Sancho. I watch games from countries all over the world, that I had no interest in before, my knowledge of players is far more advanced than I could ever had imagined and I’ve found a few gems along the way. Rhian Brewster (+229%), Donyel Malen (+329%), Erling Braud Haland (+123%), Daniel James (+164%) to name a few.

104% Profit In First Year

I don’t class myself an expert on this, the truth is there are far more successful traders out there who have made huge profits from the Index. As I said, I knew nothing 19 months ago, but with no help I made 104% profit in my first year as well as around £500 in dividends.

My portfolio now stands at over £12k in profit and I see no signs of it slowing down yet. They are advertising on radio, TV, the underground as well as Championship kit sponsors and there’s always the dream of it opening up to other countries outside the UK.

One thing I would emphasise is that The Index isn’t a get rich quick scheme, it takes time and patience. I personally use it as a savings account and until I got involved I hadn’t managed to save a penny in my life. My aim now is to treat myself to my dream holiday at the Bellagio next year, using Football Index’ money.  I know of no other way of making the profits I have while having good fun along the way and tell me which bank would give you 104% ROI!

Please remember that the Football Index is a gambling platform and for there to be winners, there must be losers. Only ever gamble what you can afford to lose and always have a strategy that you follow. Have a selling plan as well as a buying plan.
