Copa America Banker

We can’t avoid backing Brazil to win the Copa America. As the hosts, they have the home advantage in the tournament and that has proven pivotal in this competition in the past with the likes of Chile, Colombia and Uruguay all lifting the cup in front of their own fans in recent years.

Even with players like Neymar and Marcelo missing out through injury, the Selecao seem to have the best strength in depth in the tournament and although they perhaps don’t possess the same attacking prowess as Argentina, who boast the likes of Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi, they do seem to have considerably more balance and cohesion than their rivals.

Copa America Value Bet

If, as expected, both Brazil and Uruguay win their respective groups, then the two teams will be set to avoid each other through until the final stage. For la Celeste they are likely to then take on Argentina in the semi-finals and despite the odds we would back Luis Suarez and co. to progress from this fixture.

In last summer’s World Cup, Uruguay progressed to the quarter final stage, one step further than Argentina, beating the likes of Russia and Portugal on the way and with the experience and almost telepathic connection between Suarez and his strike partner Edinson Cavani, we would back them to progress further again here.

Copa America Longshot Bet

Richarlison may not be the most predictable player in the world right now but in his two seasons in the Premier League he has enjoyed spells of magnificent form with both Watford and Everton and if he does the same in this tournament, he could walk away with the golden boot.

The youngster has already smashed in five goals in his first ten Brazil caps and with Neymar missing out through injury, he’ll be hoping to earn a starting berth in the squad and to rise to the occasion with some important goals.
