In terms of football wagering, a ‘double chance’ bet is a bet where you wager upon two possible outcomes of a football match as opposed to just one. For example, if you want to ‘double chance bet’ on Real Madrid versus Barcelona, you could back Real Madrid to win or draw, Barcelona to win or draw, or either Real Madrid or Barcelona to win (which is the same as backing the game not to end in a draw). Double Chance betting is a great way to give yourself more chance of successfully winning a football bet, although the odds are less attractive than if you were simply ‘1X2’ betting.
If you are a seasoned sports bettor then you will understand all about – and get excited by – the prospect of gaining some very decent returns from a relatively low stake by using an accumulator. An accumulator, or ‘acca’, is a set of bets of (usually) four or more which are linked. When all events in the acca are over, if they are all winners then the entire acca is a winner. Your stake is used on the first event (although events can be used in any order) and then the winnings are used as the stake on the second and so on. Even a small stake on an acca with a reasonable number of events can yield a significant return.
At FootballTips.com we aim to give you all the best football tips going, and that includes ‘double chance’ betting tips. You may ask yourself why we are not confident enough to give straight ‘1X2’ bets – the answer to that is that we are, but occasionally we may come across a football match where we think more value to a bet is likely to be given if backed as a ‘double chance’ bet. It’s always our aim to give the best chance of reward to regular users of our site and we stand by our lengthy history of giving out the best football tips available anywhere on the internet.
Our ‘double chance’ predictions are many of the most accurate predictions we give here on FootballTips, and that is no idle boast – we’ve many years of successful football tipping to back up our claims. You can add to this the nature of ‘double chance’ predictions – you are, of course, backing two aspects of a football match as opposed to just one. This means you are much more likely to be correct and you will not lose all your stake if you have backed a team to win or draw and they don’t lose, in comparison to simply backing them to win and then draw.
We like to get our tips in as early as possible, but that comes with a caveat that things are likely to change as the events pertaining to our tips draw close.
