West Ham made it back-to-back 4-1 away defeats in successive weeks last weekend, suffering a heavy defeat at relegation-threatened Swansea City. The defeat leaves the Hammers just three points above the relegation zone themselves, after the Swans - who also climbed above them into 13th - went 4-0 up inside 63 minutes.

David Moyes appeared to be turning things around at the London Stadium in the early stages of his reign, but has since struggled to churn out consistent performances from his team, who have won only one of their last seven games. However, they remain strong at home, having gone unbeaten in their last five at home and have suffered just one defeat in nine.

As for Burnley, they secured a much-needed three points at home to Everton last weekend, winning 2-1 at Turf Moor. After going 11 league games without a win, this victory would have tasted extra sweet for Clarets supporters after manager Sean Dyche was an apparent target of the Toffees earlier in the season.

Amazingly, despite their horrendous run and lack of wins, Burnley still haven’t fallen beneath 7th in the Premier League table, even finding themselves just five points shy of Arsenal in 6th. A 7th-placed finish this season could even see Dyche lead his team into Europe next season, with the third Europa League place being awarded to the team in 7th should the FA Cup be won by a team who finish in the top six.

West Ham will be feeling good at the fact it is Burnley they are facing this weekend, having gone unbeaten in their last seven meetings, winning five and drawing two and earned a respectable 1-1 draw at Turf Moor earlier in the season. The Hammers will also be buoyed by the return to form of Michail Antonio, who has scored in each of his last two appearances.

After ending their winless run at home last week, Burnley will be looking to do the same on the road this time around, having failed to win in seven away games in the league - failing to score in five.
