Possible Everton Starting XI for the 2017-2018 Premier League season

Ronald Koeman, Manager of Everton shows appreciation to the fans after Premier League match between Everton and Watford

Everton look set to lose Romelu Lukaku this summer and could use the money earned to build a team around their young talents. Could this be their starting XI once the transfer window closes in August?

This is dependant on a few factors of course, but this COULD be how they line-up if transfer rumours are to be believed. While you have Martina coming in as a free transfer - Ronald Koeman worked with him at Everton - the Toffees also won the race for England defender Michael Keane.

Jordan Pickford has then already arrived as the new No.1 in goal and along with Keane, this Everton side will start having a really exciting feel to it. This is why we fully expect Tom Davies and Ross Barkley to to be in and around the side. Yanick Bolasie can play a big role too.

The final two signings are more experienced though. First, Davy Klaassen has come in from Ajax. He was a top target for Everton this summer and could slot straight in as one of their attacking midfielders. Having spent £23m, we expect him to start the campaign!

Finally... a return to Goodison Park for Wayne Rooney? He could then compete with Sandro Ramirez for the leading striker role!
