Crystal Palace vs Everton predictions for their Premier League match at Selhurst Park on Saturday. Palace remain adrift at the bottom of the table. Read on for our free predictions and betting tips.

Everton’s last Premier League away win was against Crystal Palace way back in January, but this time they may have to settle for a point at a venue where they traditionally thrive.

As the stats below illustrate, the Toffees have enjoyed their visits to Selhurst Park in recent years and they will have to hope this trip revives their otherwise poor away form throughout 2017.

The Toffees have, of course, been very disappointing generally this season and at the time of writing on Tuesday lunchtime, it was still far from certain who their new manager would be following reports that an approach for Marco Silva had been rejected by Watford.

Caretaker boss David Unsworth will, at the very least, have done much of the preparations for the trip to the Palace, but he has presided over only one win – ironically at home to Watford – and three defeats since Ronald Koeman was sacked.

That victory over the Hornets last time out came after Everton had trailed 2-0 and they only clung on to their 3-2 success when their former midfielder Tom Cleverley sent a penalty wide deep into stoppage time.

Palace, meanwhile, remain four points adrift at the bottom of the table but at least their home form has improved following their worst ever start to an English league season by any club, with four points taken from the last two Selhurst Park matches against Chelsea and West Ham.

The Eagles have a favourable run of fixtures up until Christmas, after which it gets tougher again, and manager Roy Hodgson will be aware that if his side are still bottom on December 25 then it will be looking very bleak indeed for their survival prospects.

This is a match neither side can afford to lose, especially Palace, and Everton are fancied to extend their undefeated run on this ground by claiming a point against the only side who have scored fewer top-flight goals away from home this season than them.

Crystal Palace vs Everton stats

  • Everton are unbeaten in their last six away matches against Crystal Palace
  • Under 2.5 goals have been scored in the last five meetings of these clubs
  • Everton have won only one of their last 18 away games in all competitions – against Ruzomberok in the Europa League qualifiers
