Bournemouth vs Huddersfield Town predictions for their Premier League match on Saturday. Both of these teams won their latest game. Read on for our free predictions and betting tips.

Huddersfield have played 462 minutes of football away from home without scoring a goal, but could be capable of thwarting an improving Bournemouth side on Saturday.

Both of these teams did us a favour when they were last in action before the international break, rewarding our bets on them as Bournemouth pulled off a 1-0 win away to Newcastle while Huddersfield did likewise at home to West Brom.

The Cherries are replicating what they did in their two previous Premier League seasons – starting slowly and then gradually getting their act together and it would be surprising if, now they have escaped from the drop zone, they find themselves in relegation trouble later in the campaign.

Eddie Howe’s side have been made odds-on favourite to make it four wins in five league and cup matches, but they do not look to represent the best value even against a Huddersfield side who have lost their way on the road.

The Terriers began life in the top flight with an excellent 3-0 win away to Crystal Palace but have since added only one further point on their travels with a goalless draw at Burnley.

However, David Wagner’s men are still inside the top half of the table, five points ahead of Bournemouth, thanks to a couple of good recent home victories over Manchester United and that aforementioned one against the Baggies.

What the West Yorkshire outfit unquestionably do best is set themselves up well defensively and with Bournemouth being the joint lowest scorers at home in the Premier League this term, that suggests goals will be in short supply here.

Ending their drought in front of goal in an away fixture would be significant for the visitors as they try to keep themselves away from danger, and we will back them to add another valuable point to their collection thanks to their solidity against hosts who are also anything but free-scoring, at least so far.

Bournemouth vs Huddersfield Town stats

  • Huddersfield have not won on any of their last five visits to Bournemouth
  • The Terriers have not scored away from home since their opening match of the season
  • Both teams have scored in eight of Bournemouth’s last 10 home matches against Huddersfield
