Young Boys vs Juventus betting tips

Young Boys have a perfect record at home to Italian opposition (see stats above) but surely they will be unable to stop Juventus from claiming the win they need to be certain of topping their Champions League group.

If Manchester United fall short of collecting three points away to Valencia, it will not matter what happens in the Stade de Suisse because that would ensure Juventus go forward to the knockout stage as Group H winners.

But the Italian champions for each of the last seven years are so accustomed to being victorious that it seems unthinkable that they will fail to come out on top in Bern.

After all, Juve went into their home match against Inter Milan on Friday having won 17 of their 19 games this season, and it is still something of a mystery how they allowed Manchester United to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 triumph against them in Turin.

The reverse fixture to this one ended 3-0 to Max Allegri’s side with Paulo Dybala scoring a hat-trick, that being among Young Boys’ four defeats out of five in this group and their solitary point coming from a 1-1 draw at home to Valencia.

Consequently, the Swiss champions will bow out of Europe after this game, unable to catch Valencia for third position, and it is difficult to envisage their swansong resulting in anything other than a decisive defeat against one of the leading contenders to lift the continent’s most prized trophy this term.
