Nottingham Forest v Preston Predictions

Nottingham Forest host Preston North End for their Matchday 21 clash after making the top 6 cut and retaining it with a five-match unbeaten streak, where they earned three wins and two draws since early November and now surely boast high team spirits for it.

Reds have beaten rock-bottomed Ipswich (2-0) with a first-half brace by Lewis Grabban, extending a solid tally in the final third and pushing their total to nine goals in the last three outings. Aitor Karanka will now want more of the same and he should have no troubles motivating his men to it.

Preston have been similarly tough to beat over the past couple of months but they’ve now seen their nine-match unbeaten streak ended by Birmingham in a 3-0 loss at St. Andrew's, where they conceded all three in a disappointing second-half performance.

Lilywhites have struggled for stability on the road and put in such a perspective, such a result hasn’t really been a shock – despite coming more convincing that many would suggest it would. They now want to bounce back quickly but it’s fair to say a trip to Nottingham doesn’t seem like the best place for such a quest now.

However, we don’t feel we’re in for as many goals between the sides this time around and we’ll now also go for Under 2.5 Goals FT at 10/11 with Grosvenor – which has caught the eye of many in the know as the Reds base their success at this ground on tough defensive displays before anything else.
