Manchester United vs Fulham betting tips

Coronation Street is filmed just down the road from Old Trafford, but the Manchester United soap opera has been every bit as turbulent, dramatic and entertaining to follow this season.

The next instalment comes on Saturday at home to Fulham – and just like any good TV serial, it is difficult to know what will happen next.

The latest trend for Jose Mourinho’s misfiring United side is a propensity to draw matches, with their latest three Premier League outings having ended all-square as they find themselves in a pack of eight clubs whose main target will be Europa League qualification.

That, of course, equates to dismal failure for the Red Devils who, if they are to harbour any realistic thoughts of Champions League football next term, need to start winning against teams like Fulham as a matter of course, rather than being held to embarrassing stalemates.

Fulham remain bottom of the table despite having made reasonable improvement under Claudio Ranieri so far, and the good news for them is that the remainder of their 2018 fixtures are favourable.

The Cottagers, along with Cardiff, have collected only a solitary point away from home this season, however, and surely even a struggling United side can ensure they have to wait beyond this weekend to increase that tally.
