Kelechi Iheanacho set to join Leicester for £25m

Manchester Citys Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho celebrates

Kelechi Iheanacho is on the way to Leicester City this summer, with a £25m fee agreed with Manchester City for the Nigerian striker.

The 20-year-old has found first-team opportunities limited in the last couple of seasons and despite his obvious potential, this is unlikely to change in the 2017-2018 season.

This means Pep Guardiola is willing to listen to offers for the striker and Leicester are prepared to pay the asking price.

With a £25m offer on the table, Iheanacho is likely to agree to the move, despite being contracted until 2021. Perhaps in a World Cup year, he wants his future clarified and isn't keen on going on loan.

Having scored 21 goals in 64 appearances for Man City, Leicester certainly have themselves a goalscorer and he could work extremely well with the more experienced Jamie Vardy.

Chairman David Sullivan had agreed a deal with Manchester City after  Iheanacho had been linked heavily with West Ham, but Slaven Bilic pulled out of the move - much to the anger of the club's fans.

West Ham's loss is Leicester City's gain, though!
