We are not expecting a classic here. In reality, these are two poor sides and the quality on show will be limited. Both have important World Cup qualification matches coming up though, so for preparation, it will be a handy run-out.
As ever with international friendly matches, it's a chance for the managers to have a look at certain players and formations. There will be lots of substitutions too, so this one could get scrappy in the latter stages.
Scotland do tend to be relatively solid on home soil though. They have only lost to Belgium, England and Germany since March 2013. Usually, against weaker opposition or teams on their level - they avoid defeat.
Then, given Canada's record of failing to scored in five of their last seven away games, it's a good bet to back Scotland to do this one to nil. We certainly don't see both teams scoring during a contest that is unlikely to be talked about for years to come.
