Republic of Ireland vs. Denmark Betting Tips

Denmark will travel to Dublin for the return match of their World Cup Qualifiers Play-off clash on Tuesday evening looking to cause an upset at Aviva Stadium and make their way to the Final tournament over the rivals, as we back them with Double Chance – Draw or Away win at 3/5 with Ladbrokes

Red-Whites have been far more consistent coming into the match and we’ve seen them earn an eight-match unbeaten streak, with four wins and four draws earned despite a very tough schedule in the process. They’ve been scoring many goals and outclassed Kazakhstan (1-3), Armenia (1-4) and Montenegro (0-1) on their last three trips, which surely promises another very tough challenge on the day.

Republic of Ireland come into the Play-offs on the back of a 0-1 win in Wales, making it into the Play-off for a big competition for the second time in a row after making it to France EURO 2016 with a win over Bosnia-Herzegovina. They now hope to replicate such success and with a lot to play for, we expect another very strong display despite earning only two wins in their last six games here.

We’ve seen them score six goals in their last four home outings, though, and a Yes on Both teams to score looks a very solid bet to get behind, coming at 4/5 with BetVictor. Both sides have found the net in four of Denmark’s respective last six outings, which does show an attacking approach to their fixture despite high stakes involved.

Republic of Ireland vs. Denmark Stats

The Play-off clash will be the sides’ first head-to-head encounter in over a decade and Republic of Ireland come with better overall head-to-head records, earning five wins and five draws in 13 games, as well as two convincing wins in last two clashes (3-0 in 2002 and 0-4 in 2007). They’re up against a much tougher opposition this time around, though, and it’s highly questionable if they can build on the tally.

We’ll stick our necks out for a 1-1 draw on the day and go for the lively longshot at 6/1 with William Hill.

Recommended Bets:

Double Chance – Draw or Away win at 3/5 with Ladbrokes

Both teams to score Yes at 4/5 with BetVictor
