EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - JUNE 17: Carlos Sanchez #6 of Colombia and Jose Paolo Guerrero #9 of Peru battle for the ball during the Quarterfinal match of Copa America Centenario at MetLife Stadium on June 17, 2016 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Peru vs. New Zealand predictions for Thursday’s World Cup Intercontinental Play-off clash at Estadio Nacional de Lima. La Blanquirroja to punch their ticket to the World Cup. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Peru vs. New Zealand Betting Tips

New Zealand will travel to Peru for the second leg of their Intercontinental Play-off clash on Thursday hoping to cause an upset on a tough away day and make their way to Russia 2018. However, they’ve been in a very poor spell of form on the road, with five losses suffered in their last six away games, and it’s really tough making a case for them to cause an upset.

Peru look overpowering at this point and we’ve already seen them beat Uruguay (2-1), Paraguay (1-0), Jamaica (3-1), and Bolivia (2-1) this year and hold Colombia to a 1-1 draw most recently, which will have the home fans hopeful they can build on the tally as we back them with a one-goal Winning Margin at 3/1 with BetVictor.

Indeed, they’ve been rock-solid but rarely earn convincing wins and with All Whites regularly scoring goals on the road, we now hope to see another narrow contest at Estadio Nacional de Lima, which should ultimately see La Blanquirroja through to the final tournament. The home side have been conceding many goals at this ground so we do fancy both will get on the scoresheet here.

With that in mind, we’ll now also go for a Yes on Both teams to score which comes at 9/10 with Ladbrokes, which becomes possibly the best approach to the fixture with both teams scoring and conceding many goals, doing both in four of their respective last five outings coming into the Play-off.

Peru vs. New Zealand Stats

The clash will be the first head-to-head encounter for the sides and Peru look heavy favourites to make it through over the rivals and earn a sizeable advantage already in the first leg. However, this clash could come off as a narrow occasion and they could be handed a run for the money.

We’ll thus go for a 2-1 home win in the correct score market too, which comes at 6/1 with William Hill and looks a very solid pick at this point.

Recommended Bets:

Winning Margin – Peru to win by 1 at 3/1 with BetVictor

Both teams to score Yes at 9/10 with Ladbrokes
