Luis Suarez heads in the opening goal of the last El Clasico fixture

Barcelona head to Real Madrid for El Clasico this weekend and we're anticipating another thriller between these two old rivals - get our best three bet's for Sunday's game here.

Over 3.5 goals @ 21/20 with BetVictor
El Clasico has been a high-scoring game on several occasions in recent years and it's not difficult to see why. Although Real Madrid and Barcelona both possess several quality defensive players, their main qualities undoubtedly lie in attack and that's why we're anticipating an expansive match at the Bernabeu this weekend, with chances and hopefully goals at either end!

Aware that the gap between themselves and their arch-rivals in the title race could start to look insurmountable if they don't take all three points from this weekend's match, we anticipate Barca to look to play on the front foot and get the ball to their deadly attacking trident of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi - how many defences can realistically stop those three from scoring?

However, this could play into Real Madrid's hands somewhat. With the pace and power that Los Blancos have on the counter-attack, as they have shown in games against Barcelona and indeed in their midweek Champions League win over Bayern Munich, they can be deadly if you play this style of football against them and with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata in the squad, they're clinical enough to take any chances you may be foolish enough to give them, also.

Match to be drawn @ 3/1 with bet365
We can't choose a winner between these two old rivals in Saturday afternoon's game. Although on paper Barcelona may be slightly stronger in their starting eleven at this point, Real Madrid perhaps have more strength in depth and they're in better form in the league so far in this current season, hence why they're in top spot and haven't yet lost in any competition so far in this campaign.

Los Blancos have the home advantage and that could play into their hands somewhat, but we can see the visitors being able to match them over 90 minutes, particularly in the goalscoring ranks given how many goals they've been able to rack up in recent games, even though they have at times struggled on the road over the last couple of months.

We successfully backed a draw in the reverse fixture between these two great rivals earlier in the season and that's why we're backing a share of the spoils once again in Sunday evening's showdown at the Bernabeu.

Luis Suarez to score at any time @ 5/4 with Sky Bet
Looking at the goalscoring markets, there's unsurprisingly very little value in backing either Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, but thankfully for us there are a tonne of quality attacking players on show in this fixture and the likes of Luis Suarez, Karim Benzema, Neymar and Alvaro Morata will all hope to write their names into the El Clasico history books this weekend.

The Uruguayan Barcelona forward Suarez is our pick though. His record for the season is an astonishing 32 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions so far this term and although he hasn't quite beaten Messi in the goalscoring terms this season, he remains one of the most dangerous attackers in the world and will be a real threat to the hosts' backline on Sunday night.

Let's not forget that the former Liverpool man found the net in the reverse fixture between these two sides back in November and it's rare you'll ever find Suarez not odds-on to score at any time in a game. Given he's available at 5/4 to find the net in this one, we can't resist backing him to get on the scoresheet and he may even be worth looking at to score two or more if you're going for longer odds.
