Nancy vs. Marseille Betting Tips
Marseille travel to Nancy for their Matchday 34 clash after catching up with the top 4 connecting a six-match unbeaten streak behind them and hope to now build on it, with an attempt to snatch all-important points at Stade Marcel-Picot on Friday, which we’ll back at 21/20 with Ladbrokes
L’OM have been great in front of their home fans throughout the season and their 4-0 win over Saint-Etienne last week has been the latest evidence of that. The win has made it three wins and three draws in their last six outings and, although they’ve earned just goalless draws at Lille and Toulouse in their last two away games, we do feel they can now outclass the struggling rivals.
Nancy come into the match in a poor spell of form with just one win (3-0 over Rennes earlier in April) earned in their last 11 matches, with one draw and nine losses also on the record. They’ve been a tough home side, but their poor streak has brought them to the brink of the relegation zone and it’s hard to see any confidence to be taken from it.
With both sides coming into the match of high importance looking to bag points, we expect a narrow contest with not many all-out attacks resulting with a low-scoring match, where Under 2.5 goals FT looks a very solid bet to get behind at 3/4 with William Hill
. Marseille haven’t netted a goal in any of their last two away games, and if they’re to bag the points here it will be mainly for a great defensive display in Tomblaine.
Nancy vs. Marseille Stats
The sides have met just once since Nancy rejoined the Ligue 1 where Marseille have been very convincing in front of the home fans and earned a 3-0 win in December, making it their ninth win in ten games against their rivals. However, their trips to Nancy have usually been tougher quests, with three of their last four head-to-head encounters ending with just one goal scored.
L’OM have last secured the points at this ground with a 0-1 win in 2012 and we’ll now go for the same score prediction, which does seem a great pick at this point coming at 6/1 with BetVictor
