Atalanta vs. Bologna Betting Tips
Atalanta will host Bologna for their Matchday 33 clash on Saturday after holding Roma to a draw at Olimpico last week and connecting their four-match unbeaten streak. With confidence taken from it, they’ve remained in the league’s top 5 and come into the match confident to bag all three points, backed at 1/3 with BetVictor
La Dea have last suffered a home loss back in early December and we’ve seen them in great form, earning five wins and two draws in seven matches since then. They’ve thus been one of the toughest home sides in the league and it’s a longshot to assume Bologna can now take anything away from this match.
The visitors come into the match in a poor spell of form and although they’ve earned two wins mid-March escaping the immediate danger zone, we’ve seen them suffer two expected losses (1-0 at Fiorentina and 0-3 to Roma) and earn just a goalless draw at struggling Palermo. Atalanta will be a much tougher task altogether, and it’s surely tough for Rossoblu to believe they can build on their mid-table position at Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.
Bologna have thus failed to find the net on both of their last two trips away from home and three consecutive games overall, which does look worryingly ahead of the trip to Bergamo, as the home side have been rock-solid at the back recently. Atalanta have conceded just two goals in their last four outings and we’ll now back them to maintain such stability, sticking our necks out for them to keep a clean sheet at 10/11 with Ladbrokes
Atalanta vs. Bologna Stats
Rossoblu have last snatched all three points at this ground back in 2009, with two more draws on the record since. Atalanta have somewhat better overall records against their rivals (11/9/7) and we’ve seen them bag the points in both their head-to-head encounters in 2016 (2-0 in March and 0-2 in November).
With belief they can now build on that, we’ll go for a 2-0 correct score prediction here too, which would be their third such win in a row and comes at a handsome 11/2 with William Hill
