Atalanta v Juventus betting preview

Atalanta have impressed in Italy in the last few seasons as they've progressed well under the guidance of Gianpiero Gasperini in the last few seasons. Last term, the Bergamo-based outfit even managed to qualify for European competition and they've reached the group stages of the Europa League this term, although they'll be keen not to allow their involvement in that competition to affect their league form.

After starting the campaign with back-to-back defeats against strong Napoli and Roma sides, la Dea have since gone unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions, even picking up four points from their first two tough Europa League ties and earning league victories over Crotone and Sassuolo. Despite being tough to break down, they remain underdogs for the three points here at 21/5 with Unibet.

Juventus have been Italy's most dominant team in recent years, winning six consecutive Scudettos on the bounce and they're favourites for the title again this season. After six games of the current season, the Old Lady don't actually top the table due to the terrific form of Napoli, although that won't concern boss Massimiliano Allegri too much given that his side have won all six of their league fixtures thus far.

A disappointingly heavy defeat at the hands of Barcelona in the Champions League may have dented confidence somewhat, but you wouldn't be able to tell if so as Juve have bounced back with three Serie A wins since then plus a hard-fought Champions League victory over Olympiakos. With the quality that they possess in their squad, it's no surprise the visitors are 4/5 favourites for the win here with bet365.

Atalanta look strong going forward, having found the net at least once in each of their last seven matches. Alejandro Gomez and Andrea Petagna offer a real goal threat going forward and we do fancy the hosts to at least get on the scoresheet in front of their own fans. Juventus' superior quality should eventually shine through however so we're on the away win and both teams to score selection at 16/5 with Ladbrokes.

Paulo Dybala has been in terrific form in the early stages of the campaign. The Argentinian forward has already smashed in 10 goals in just six appearances and he's certainly the man to watch in Serie A at the moment. The supremely talented 23 year old will be looking to add to his tally in this game and we can't miss backing him to do exactly that at evens with bet365.

Recommended bets:
Juventus to win and both teams to score @ 16/5 with Ladbrokes
Paulo Dybala to score at any time @ evens with bet365
